Somewhere around 10 years ago I started taking in a few animals in need and letting them go into boarding at vets. We eventually got our own place and that lasted for a year. Now we have a fostering base that takes in animals and gives them security and love until the perfect home is found for them and they are adopted.
Many of the animals we take in are sick or wounded. Many have had to have surgeries and require long term care before they are available for adoption. Our vet bills are extremely high and we depend on donations from the public to continue to do what we do for those with no voice.
